On 30th March 2019 two BLBC boats will be taking part in the world famous Head of the River Race. The mens 1st VIII and mens fresher VIII are both rowing; the first boat are number 102, and the fresher boat are 273.

Barts and The London Boat Club take on Queen Mary Boat Club in this year's rowing merger cup fixture.
The afternoon will feature four high-intensity sprints races, racing schedule is as follows:
15:00: Women's Senior VIII
15:20: Men's Novice VIII
15:40: Women's Novice VIII
16:00: Men's Senior IV
With 16 points up for grabs we would love to see some BL support coming down to to UL Boathouse, Chiswick as we race down 800m of Tideway on the afternoon of Wednesday the 14th of March!
On Tuesday the 19th of March, Barts & The London Boat Club (BLBC) will embark on our second 24 hour Rowathon challenge of the 2018-19 academic year!
We will be rowing continuously for 24 hours from 00:00 to 24:00 on Tuesday the 19th of March to raise as much as we can for London's Air Ambulance!

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, they aim to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma. They rely on charitable donations to keep their service running.
Please come show your support! Two rowing machines will be set-up near Millennium Bridge at Peter's Hill EC4V (between the City of London School and The Salvation Army Headquarters). There may be the opportunity to join in too!
